Accomplishments

New Heights consistently scores higher than schools in the surrounding neighborhood. In 2022, New Heights scored better than the state average for all our major subgroups. New Heights won a Community Schools Planning grant in 2022 and a Public Charter Schools Dissemination Grant from CDE given to high-quality charter schools to share best practices in oral language development in 2017. New Heights Charter Schools hiring practices reflect our commitment to diversity. Our teaching faculty is 59% Latinx, 18% Asian, 18% African American, and 5% White and 55% of our teachers are bilingual speaking both Spanish and English.
